I worked as a microbiologist there and perform following tasks; Media preparation, steam sterilization, Dry heat sterilization, Media pouring, Culturing (streaking, spreading, swabbing, and pour plate method). I have hand on practice of Wet bacterial penetration testing, Dry bacterial penetration testing, Bacterial filtration efficiency testing, Antimicrobial finish testing on textiles and Antimicrobial activity testing of textiles, Blood penetration testing through masks and surgical drapes

I worked in diagnostic laboratories in University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. There were mainly three sections Hematology, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology where I worked.Hematology: I learned there how to use hematological analyzer to perform CBC and performed about 100 samples. And also learned to perform PT-INR (coagulation profile).
Clinical pathology: I learned how to perform urine routine test using dip stick method and how to interpret that.
Microbiology: I worked in microbiology department and perform the tasks including Media preparation, steam sterilization, media pouring, culturing (urine culture, blood culture, tissue culture), Biochemical testing (IMViC), Staining techniques (Gram stain, Spore stain, Acid fast stain, Giemsa stain, Capsular stain) o Microscopy: I am well experienced in using microscope and identification of morphology of microbes.

Reception: Starting from the reception I worked as a receptionist there for a week and learned how to proceed test requisitions and how to deliver reports to patients.
Phlebotomy: in this section I learned how to draw blood sample from the vein of patients along with the precautions.
Performed various pathology tests on blood and urine samples from patients in the hospitals.
